Honouring the body

I believe our Body is a map with all possible pathways in it, waiting to be discovered and co-created. When we are at stagnation it is at pain. It wants us to move with faith, to restore its fluidity, to discover our flexibility. Sensing the movement within, throughout and around, - learning to listen to it with humbleness, respect, and compassion, we restore in us the capacity to walk any path we choose to take and to create.

 

Practicing the art of deep listening, we can understand our bodies sacred language, which might talk to us through pain, sometimes even scream, but when we start to listen to it carefully and hear it´s voice, - our inner voice -, our pain starts to release. We start to see all with the eyes of love and compassion and that moment will be a truly wonderful moment, liberating us from all division, allowing us to start to breath free and to feel and experience our inner truth. 

About Me

My name is Anna Katalin.

I am professional dancer, a teacher, a performer, and a choreographer. In the past years my focus from channeling the creative and healing energy of movement, dance and somatic practices, brought me to became a healing practitioner. My studies and mainly the true integration processes, - in my personal and professional life -, of the insights and of the method of Compassionate Inquiry, from Dr. Gábor Máté, as well as of the deeply transformative teachings of Mindfulness practices - Buddhistic Philosophy and Psychology, 

inspired me to find a kind way, a compassionate somatic body work, where practice and theory melts together and the integration process of change, healing and transformation can take place immediately and inherently. This practice I call the CAT Compassionate Accompaniment. 

 

Shall it be through the individual conseling and coaching sessions, or in form of group and team work, or the presentations and workshops of CAT Compassionate Accompaniment, my aim is to contribute and promote the possibility of the experience of finding inner peace within change, moving through the challenges of life with trust and confidence. I am fascinated by the natural healing capacity of our bodies and I am passionate about sharing with you the art of deep relaxation, where the seed of the joy, which is born out of the acceptance of transformation, gets nurtured.  The various somatic experience based practices of CAT Compassionate Accompaniment Sessions are opening a path for revealing and integrating consciously the wisdom of the body, in our lives.

My journey as a dance and performing arts professional brought me the gift of an ongoing path, of unfolding the treasures of the body, of movement and of somatic practices. Listening to my body through movement and creation processes now for over 20 years, I have had the chance to experience through art, the magical force of creativity, which relies in each of us and which unites us to a greater meaning of our own life and of the collective human experience.

I am dedicating my life to unfold the wisdom of the Body, researching and discovering more and more ways; skills, tools and practices on how to listen and integrate our bodies wisdom, on the path towards wholeness and genuine happiness. 

 

In my experience our bodies are offering constantly, very generously the healing and transformative power, which we seek, to be able to live in peace and they hold the key, to the answer of the ´How?´ - to heal ourselves?, How to become truly ourselves?, Who we are? and How to grow into the person, who we feel we are meant to be?

 

By practicing the art of deep relaxation, somatic, trauma informed movement practices, deep listening, compassionate inquiry, integrating the practice of generating consciously love and compassion, through practicing humbleness and gratefulness, we can embarque on the journey of becoming our true selfs, unlocking and manifesting our continuously expanding full potential

 In my life, the path I choose to take is through deep listening, honouring the present moment by being in touch with ¨What is¨ and practicing letting go; finding joy in the understanding and acceptance of the inherent changing nature of all. 

 

 I dedicate my life to the service of all living beings, practicing every day to live in attunament with the comprehension of the law of interdependendence.

Working with deep and sacred connection to the body and nature is essential to me. 

In my vision it is the source as well as the key to the experience of our inner wisdom, leading us to the truth, to the experience of ultimate freedom.

Connecting nature, permaculture, environmental activism, with conscious body work, movement-dance-art therapy, and artistic creations, where we can peacefully fight for the well being of all living beings and of our planet, trusting the body, and the wisdom about transformation coming from within.

My emphasis lies on instant composition, on improvisation, allowing us to experience the ultimate nature of life; change and inter-dependance within creative exploration.
