We are happy to welcome you for a four days encounter, at the Yucca Studio, in the wonderful surrounding of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, at the Cabanas de Tavira, Portugal. Our intention with this event lies in creating community through an encounter, that values the wisdom of the body, when it dances and is celebrated.
These days are opening up a space for the coexistence between people interested in the study of the body and the exploration of its forms of expression, through healthy movement practices. Resuming the IV edition of SEMANA SANA responds to a strong need to take the time, to self-regulate and to co-regulate with the environment through dance.
In each of the past editions, a framework has been proposed on which this vast concept, that is HEALTH was dialogued: contact, space, and the monster. This year our research within the movement practices focuses on LISTENING.
